Cash incentives for probe witnesses
Two Western missions here have offered a cash bonanza for Tamils in
the North who give evidence against Sri Lanka before Navi Pillay’s
committee.
They are now looking for witnesses with the support of three
prominent NGO activists, offering handsome cash awards ranging from Rs.
50,000 - 100,000 to each witness. Money before country eh!
Lull Kanth opposes support for Show-Bhi-ta
Lull Kanth has strongly opposed a proposal to support Show-Bhi-ta as
a common candidate for the next Prez polls.
Anura Prince’s proposal has been rejected by the majority of the
politburo members. With Ra-Blue saying a firm no to the request to
support Show-Bhi-ta, there could be three ‘common’ candidates from the
Opposition! Perhaps, Show-Bhi-ta may have only the Tea-En-Ae support!
Wedding Sam on his first love
A newspaper carried a picture of Wedding Sam having a pow-wow with MR
at Taxi Abey’s daughter’s wedding. On the very next day, Cricketing
Sumathi met Sam and Anura Prince at the Lobby. “Although you criticise
him all the time, we saw the reality,” Sumathi said. Sam admitted the
bitter truth saying, “The first love would never die”.
Ka-roo’s ploy for Green candidacy
Ka-roo has still not given up hopes of becoming the You-En-Pee
candidate for the next Prez polls. He has been holding separate
discussions with key players in the Elephant Party to woo support. One
of his main strategies is to drive a wedge between Ra-Blue and Saa-jeet,
the Love-Slave so that he could capitalise on uniting the party and grab
the Green candidacy as a peace maker. |
