SL-Thailand Business Council delegation visits Thailand

The Royal Thai Embassy in Sri Lanka organised a business trip for
members of the Sri Lanka-Thailand Business Council (SLTBC) to Thailand
recently to promote and enhance trade and investment
between Sri Lanka and Thailand.
Ambassador of Thailand to Sri Lanka, Nopporn Adchariyavanich led the
delegation of 10 Sri Lankan businessmen interested in doing business
with Thailand in various fields, such as education, medical service,
tourism, hotel supply and amenity, construction material, food and fruit
products, organising of exhibition, fisheries and used cars to meet Thai
counterparts in Bangkok.
The Sri Lankan businessmen also met with the high ranking officials
of Thailand such as Deputy Secretary-General of the Board of Investment,
Thailand, Deputy Director-General of the Department of International
Trade Promotion, Ministry of Commerce and the Vice Chairman of the
Federation of Thai Industries.
The Royal Thai Embassy in Colombo organises business visits to
Thailand twice a year. The next visit will take place in May. |
