Mahendra Singh Dhoni now holds the record for most wins in One-Day
Internationals by an Indian captain away from home.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni on Friday struck a patient, unbeaten 45 to help
India edge past West Indies in their World Cup Pool B encounter at Perth
on Friday.
India's fourth win on-the-trot helped Dhoni record his 59th ODI
victory away from home as captain, beating Sourav Ganguly's record of 58

Mohammed Shami has taken 49 wickets at an average of 21.83 in 23 ODIs -
the most by any bowler in ODIs since January 2014.
His tally of five four-wicket hauls is also the most by any bowler
during this period. Shami has received his second Man of the Match award
in ODIs - his first was against West Indies (4/36) at Delhi on October
11, 2014.
The Indian speedsters are averaging 17.13 in the present competition
- the second highest by Indian pacers in a tournament in ODIs (minimum
four games) - the best being 16.47 in the TVS Cup in 2003. |
