BoC Hapana program at Poojapitiya school

The 1,045th Bank of Ceylon (BoC) Hapana program was held recently at
the Poojapitiya Primary School. Over 500 students and 400 parents were
present.
The BoC Hapana is a strategic Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
project of the Bank of Ceylon to support and encourage students to pass
the Year Five scholarshipexamination.
The Bank has been associated in this CSR program since 2000 and has
coached over 600,000 students. Its landmark 1,000th program was held at
Balangoda Ananda Maithree Maha Vidyalaya in July 2014, where over 1,000
school children and parents were present.The program is not only for
students but also parents on how to prepare their children for
examinations by improving their mental well-being.
So far this program has shared knowledge with over 500,000 parents.
The Bank takes pride in providing assistance to future leaders. The
program is co-sponsored by Ceylon Biscuits (Munchee) and Camillus
