Daya Aviation launches helicopter service : Daya Group (Pvt) Ltd which ventured into the aviation industry in 2008 as Daya Aviation (Pvt) Ltd, has introduced a helicopter for commercial purposes. The multi-role rotocraft, the EC 130 T2, will provide passengers VIP comfort. The fleet includes a four-seat Beech Craft Baron, 19-seat Jet Stream 32 and a 14-seat Cessna Caravan. At present the company flies to 15 destinations in Sri Lanka. President Maithripala Sirisena, State Ministers Ruwan Wijewardena, Rosy Senanayake, Karu Jayasuriya, Gamini Jayawickrema Perera and Deputy Minister Eran Wickramaratne were also present.
