A musical tribute to Visharad Sunil Santha by his senior pupil
Visharad Mahinda Tennekoon will be held on May 22 at the Indian Cultural
Centre, Colombo 7. The show will commence at 6.30 p.m. and admission is
free. The audience is requested to be in their seats by 6 p.m.
A medical practitioner by profession Visharad Mahinda Tennakoon has
completed his Vocal Visharada exmination in Lucknow, India and has also
his Diploma in Tabla.
He released his CD 'Sandatharu' which is now popular and has
performed at three Guru Upahara concerts in Colombo, and was featured in
Tharu Atharata Tharuk and Sunil Gee presentations by the then Radio
Ceylon. Before he settled in Sri Lanka he performed at two live concerts
in London. |
