Kandy Esala perahera from Aug 15 to 29

The Kandy-Senkadagala annual Esala Perahera will commence on August 15, the final night Randoli Perahera on Aug. 29 and the water-cutting ceremony at the Gatambe Mahaweli River in the morning hours of August 30. The four Devale Perahera will be held from August 15 to 19, the Kumbal Perahera will be held from 20 to 24, the Randoli from Aug. 25 to Aug.30
