'Strangers'

Sri Lanka International University Romp-2015:

Strangers, the Sri Lanka International University Romp-2015 (SLIUR-15) organized by the Department of Marketing Management of university of Sri Jayewardenepura in collaboration with Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau was successfully held on June 11 and 12. The event was held within the city limits of Colombo and Kithulgala, with the participation of over 100 representatives of local and foreign universities, grouped into 10 teams.

The opening ceremony, held at the University premises, was attended by several distinguished members of the University and Corporate world.

The city romp, a mysterious journey within the metro areas of Colombo, provided a whole new experience for the participants on the very first day. Hard yet challenging tasks were successfully completed by the ten teams with much eagerness. The second day of the programmed got underway at the beautiful Kithulagala adventure camp. White water rafting introduced a thrilling element to the event, giving something extra for the participants to savour.

SLIUR-2015 ended on an extravagant note at Rivinka Greenside Hotel Homagama, Milanka Gajanayake, the Managing Director of Sri Lanka Tourism and Promotion Bureau as the Chief Guest. Entertainment for the award ceremony were provided by students of Marketing Management Association. All the participants were awarded for their dedication, team spirit and participation. 'Nallur Rio Lovers' were adjudged champions of Sri Lanka International University Romp -2015 'Strangers'.
