Royal College rugby coach Sanath Martis achieved a rare feat guiding
his teams to win the coveted schools Rugby League title for the fifth
time in his career.
Martis who is regarded as one of the best rugby coaches, guided Royal
College Colombo to clinch the recently ended Schools Rugby League title
with a invincible 21-8 win, has coached four times as undisputed
unbeaten rugby champs with three different schools in Sri Lanka.
Going with this feet this is a rare honour that any coach can achieve
in the Lankan rugby arena. A major success behind this is that Martis
has fighting spirit getting the services from every player at the right
occasion.
Martis is a simple gentleman who is always humble whenever he rises
to the occasion. His schools rugby league achievements are as follows.
