SLIM students top CIM examinations

The Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM), one of the most senior
providers of CIM education in Sri Lanka, produced another batch of
winners this year, with Hashan Wickremesinge, who studied under G.S.
Sylvester, winning the prize for 'Marketing' under the new syllabus of
CIM at the recently concluded Chartered Institute of Marketing
examination. Ms. Chaturi Katugampola was awarded the Sri Lankan prize
for 'Digital Marketing' and was tutored by Saliya Weerakoon.
Vishwa Weerasooriya, who studied the old syllabus under the tutelage
of Denzil Perera, was awarded the Sri Lankan prize for the subject
'Assessing the Marketing Environment'.
Udaya Shanker's student, Ms. Dilrukshi Crofton won the award for
'Marketing and Information and Research' while Indunil Aluthwela, who
was taught by Matheesha Hewawitharana, was the prize winner of
'Stakeholder Marketing'. Ms. Hiranya Karunaratne was the winner of
'Marketing Planning Process' and her lecturer was Philip Mullegama.
Founded in 1970, with a vision to 'Lead the nation towards economic
prosperity', SLIM conducts a variety of postgraduate and graduate
diplomas, leading to postgraduate studies offered by universities, both
national and international.
