A continuation of an initiative begun in 2014, the first two programs
for the current financial year were held in Matara and Piliyandala. Over
150 invitees were present, a company official said.
Presentations were made on numerous technical aspects and features
that contribute to cost per kilometre, safety and mileage and on how to
get the best performance on local roads.
The official said programs of this nature strengthen the brand's
engagement with CEAT truck and bus tyre dealers and customers around the
country and provide them with updates on the latest developments in the
company and its products. Fifteen such gatherings are due to be held in
2015-16.
Vice President, Sales and Marketing, CEAT Kelani Holdings, Ravi
Dadlani said, "As the manufacturer of a large percentage of Sri Lanka's
tyre needs, CEAT has an in-depth knowledge of local roads, how they
affect the performance of tyres, and to manufacture tyres that are equal
to the conditions." |
