Hindu research confab in Jaffna from July 31

A Hindu Research Conference will be held in Nallur, Jaffna from July 31 to August 2 commemorate the Diamond Jubilee of the All Ceylon Hindu Congress.

Chief Minister of Northern Province C V Wigneswaran will be the Chief Guest at the inaugural sessions on July 31 and Minister of Rehabilitation Resettlement and Hindu Religious Affairs D M Swaminathan will be the Chief Guest at the closing ceremony on Aug 2.

Chief Guru of Dharmapuram Aatheenam of India His Holiness Mouna Kumaraswamy Thambiran Swamigal will attend the conference as a special guest speaker and deliver discourses on religious topics.

His Holiness Nallai Aatheenam will also deliver an address of blessings.

Asst. High Commissioner for India in Jaffna A Natarajan and N Vethanayahan and the Government Agent of Jaffna will also be guests of honour.

President of the All Ceylon Hindu Congress Kandiah Neelakandan will chair the parley.
