Dialog takes football to Race Course after 10 years
The Dialog Champions League 2015, Sri Lanka's premier football
tourney, kicked off at the Racecourse Ground in Colombo yesterday with
Blue Star Sports Club and Colombo Football Club locking horns and
marking the first football match to be played at the Racecourse Ground
after a lapse of ten years.

SriLanka's most prolific sponsor of sports, Dialog Axiata, is
sponsoring the Champions League for the tenth year and the tournament
also introduces a new format for the 2015 season. A total of 22 teams
are competing for this year's championship where the top four from two
groups will feature in the Super Eight on a league basis.
The Champions League will witness 140 matches and the presence of
players from Africa and almost all Sri Lankan players promises an
exhilarating season for spectators according to organisers.

Anura de Silva, the President of Football Federation of Sri Lanka.
