The Ceylon Institute of Builders (CIOB), held its first green mark
award ceremony recently to recognise green products in the construction
sector. The Green Mark is a Singaporean product label accredited
internationally by the Building Construction Authority (Singapore),
Green Building Council (Singapore), Chartered Institute of Builders (UK)
and locally by the Ceylon Institute of Builders, Ministry of
Environment, Ministry of Construction and Central Environment Authority.
"The Green Mark label for Ceyoka's FunderMax high pressure laminated
panels serve as a benchmark in our continuous drive for excellence,"
General Manager, Exterior Department, Ceyoka Engineering, Mrs Vasantha
Gunasekera said.
Meeting the challenging needs of the cladding industry, including
versatility, sustainability, design and longevity, Ceyoka offers panels
manufactured by FunderMax, Austria, with a century of deep-rooted
product development.
"Made to withstand extreme weather, when it comes to sustainability,
high pressure laminated panels excel. A small air gap between the panel
and wall provides insulation against weather, resulting in energy
savings of up to 30 percent besides reducing the quantum of rainwater
striking the walls," she said.
"The laminates are flame retardant. It also does not need regular
maintenance and a simple wash is sufficient. Ceyoka's certified
installer teams have earned a reputation for building and maintaining
working relationships with clients and suppliers who trust us to deliver
an excellent service," said Mrs. Gunasekera. |
