Mathews undermined?

Sri Lanka World Cup captain Angelo Mathews has been virtually downgraded by the selectors who have named him as deputy to Lasith Malinga for the Asia Cup as well as the World T20.

Mathews is also the captain of the Sri Lanka team that plays Test cricket which is the most elevated form of the game enshrined by the International Cricket Council (ICC). No other nation has named its Test captain as deputy skipper in T20 cricket which is more about slam-bang stuff and very little to do with tactical moves.
