ICT Gateway to link SL firms with Norwegian counterparts

Sri Lanka's ICT firms now have the opportunity to link up with the Norwegian counterparts to explore global opportunities, under the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce and Advance Business Partner-AS of Norway led Sri Lanka-Norway Matchmaking program. Norwegian firms are looking to outsource their work to overseas partners, due to their low capacity issues, higher project costs, limited skilled employees under the 'ICT Gateway' project

The 'ICT Gateway' will enable Sri Lankan ICT firms to find a matching ICT partner, agent, distributor, supplier or even form Joint Ventures. It will also provide negotiation support and assistance to set up the partnership.

Norway is a country which is highly advanced in using technology in their day-to-day life, as well as a country that is used as a testing ground for new technology. In the recent past Sri Lanka has been one of their main overseas destination, which it outsource their ICT related business activities.
