SEDA (UK) Fellowship for Lankan academic

The Staff and Educational Development Association (SEDA), UK has
offered a Senior Fellowship known as SFSEDA (UK) to Prof. Udith K.
Jayasinghe-Mudalige of the Wayamba University.
Prof. Jayasinghe-Mudalige serves as the Professor (Chair) of
Agricultural Economics and Business at the Wayamba University. He is a
recipient of the Fulbright Teaching and Research Fellowship of the USA
and served as a Visiting Professor to the University of Massachusetts in
2014-15.
He has also been offered the Endeavour Postgraduate Research
Fellowship at the Monash University, Australia. Prof.
Jayasinghe-Mudalige obtained his B.Sc. (Agriculture) degree with First
Class Honours in 1994 from the University of Peradeniya followed by an
M.Sc. (Agricultural Economics) in 1991 from the Postgraduate Institute
of Agriculture in Sri Lanka and Ph.D. from the University of Guelph,
Canada in 2004 under the Commonwealth Postgraduate Scholarship.
SEDA is a professional association based in the UK which promotes
innovation and good practice in higher education. It is the first time
in the history of SEDA (UK) that a Senior Fellowship has been conferred
on a staff and educational developer in Sri Lanka. |
