British School celebrates Avurudu

The British School in Colombo celebrated the Avurudu Season with a special Avurudu Assembly. Junior and Senior School pupils performed traditional Sri Lankan cultural items, including dances and folk songs. In the afternoon children enjoyed Avurudu Pola, organised by the PTA, featuring a range of stalls and games to mark the significant Sinhala and Tamil New Year.
