ICBT Campus offers BBA International College of Business and Technology (ICBT), a member of the Ceylinco Group, recently launched a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree programme awarded by the Curtin University of Technology of Perth, Australia. The primary objective of the BBA programme is to offer a globally recognized degree in business administration to the Sri Lankan youth. This is said to be the first time that all three years of an Australian bachelors degree could be completed in Sri Lanka which provides an opportunity for students from an average family to obtain an internationally recognized qualification while studying in the country. Curtin University multi-disciplinary teaching and research programmes are developed with a focus on industry needs, to ensure graduates' skills meet the needs of prospective employees. It is said to be the largest university in Western Australia with more than 26,000 students studying on campus worldwide. The ICBT campus at Mt. Lavinia is a partner institute of Curtin University of Technology to deliver the BBA in Sri Lanka. The BBA programme focuses on preparing students for management roles in public or private sector organisations. Besides exposing student to various core disciplines in business, it offers them special opportunities such as industry and organisation-based project work, the opportunity to apply these concepts to their own work environment, international study tours and the choice of specialising in an area such as management, small business and entrepreneurship, human resources and international management. The programme is offered on a full time or part time basis. |
