Pilgrimage/tour with a difference with Crown Tours

Crown Tours at Kirulapona now offers special tour/pilgrimage packages to Dambadiva twice a year. The first tour conducted recently was a big success. The tours are being offered at very special prices, specially to Sri Lankans, a spokesman for Crown Tours said.

'Many people think that the cold climate in New Delhi and Nepal during the month of January was unbearable to Sri Lankan pilgrims. On the assurance of the organisers that the climate will suit old people, I was very happy I took my 74-year old mother, who wanted her dream come true, by visiting Lord Buddha's birthplace. It was a most memorable 14 day tour/pilgrimage. We visited all important places with as Lumbini, Agra, Sanchi, Kushy, Nagar, Buddhagaya, Varanasi, Nalanda and even had the opportunity to do shopping in Delhi and Chennai.

Managing Director, Crown Tours, Ajith said that he has already organised the next tour for March 19 to suit Sri Lanka expatriate working abroad to accompany their loved ones from Sri Lanka. This tour too is offered at a very special price, he said. (RK)
