The Golden Key Company has won four of the seven awards presented by IBM to its business partners at this year's IBM Business Partner Kick-Off.

These include 'Product Leadership Award - iSeries, Sales and Distribution,' 'Best Customer Satisfaction Award, Sales and Distribution', and the 'Business Partner of the Year Award, Sales and Distribution'.

One of two personal awards was also carried away by Golden Key employee Chandana Pathirana, in the category 'Best sales Champion of the Year Award, Sales and Distribution.' The annual event recognises the top performances in the IBM distributor network in Sri Lanka. Concentrating on the marketing and distribution of hardware and software, the Golden Key Company's portfolio of solutions has been expanding, to provide solutions incorporating business intelligence software and high availability systems to the region's many high profile industries including banking and hospitality. Golden Key has won many IBM awards in the past.

Meanwhile, Golden Key has also announced that all personal computers offered to its customers will have Windows XP (Professional) Installed (ex-plant) and offered at no extra cost.

IBM personal computers come with 1.6 MHZ Intel Pentium-4 processor, 40GB of hard disk, 128MB memory (upgradable to 1536MB), CD-Rom, Network card, 32MB VRAM, ACPI complaint power management with AGP2X graphic bus interface.

Golden Key also offers a Comprehensive Warranty Business Pack to corporate and government sector customers. The warranty pack is designed to address business needs of organisations and includes not only the conventional support offered with any computer, but one-to-one back unit operating system support and IBM four hour response time.
