A concert with a
 difference

To the haunting strains of 'Dileepa' the first song that the late Clarence Wijewardena sang with the Moonstones in 1970, the curtain went up on a fabulous concert 'Clarence, Annesley and Indrani in 'Cyber Space' on August 4 at the BMICH. Leaning on today's amazing technology Sunil and the Gypsies provided the music and harmony for Clarence's voice which stirred the emotions of the audience, and what followed from then on was a feast of songs by Annesley and Indrani.

Annesley picked up the tempo of the concert after Dileepa singing Sihina Pathum Vimana followed by Indrani and her song Sande Kumari, with effective lighting and dances by Channa's Dance Troupe. The show, relived total of thirty songs sung by the Trio and Sunil Perera. Indrani was joined on stage by her sister Iranganie and her other sister, the late Mallika's daughter to bring back the nostalgia of the 'Three Sisters'. The finale of the show was a medley of songs with audience participation - a robust and enthusiastic audience who sang their hearts out.
