Govt. delegation returns from Oslo by Ananth Palakidnar The Government delegation led by Economic Reforms, Science and Technology Minister Milinda Moragoda has expressed satisfaction over the talks they have had with the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam in Oslo last week. The two member delegation comprising minister Moragoda and the Director of the Peace Secretariat Bernard Gunatilleke returned to Colombo early yesterday. Director, Peace Secretariat Bernard Gunatilleke told the Sunday Observer that the details of the Oslo talks would be reported to the Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe this week. Mr. Gunatilleke who was also associated in Oslo talks along with Minister Moragoda said :"We are happy on the stance taken by the LTTE during the talks. Both sides discussed several issues in a positive manner and are confident of commencing the talks in September. |
