'Sthri Music' - postponed

The Sthri Music Concert which was scheduled for Sunday August 11 in aid of the Kidney Patients' Welfare Fund is now postponed to Sunday September 29.

All tickets purchased will be valid for the new date at the same auditorium - the Bishop's College Auditorium Colombo, according to the organisers.

The concert to coincide with the 'International Womens' Year' will give pride of place to female vocalists and will be different, in that it will be a kind of unplugged performance with the singers playing instruments, something they don't usually do on stage. The female vocalists who will be featured according to Mariazelle will be Shyamie Fonseka, Dalreen Suby, Chandani Hettiarachchi, Corinne Almeida, Priya Goonetilleke, Drucille G and Mariazelle herself. Male guest performers include Sohan Weerasinghe, Maxi Rosairo, Annesley Malawana with Sohan and the X'periments as the backing band.
