Former Sri Lanka cricketer turned golfer, Sidath Wettimuny returned an excellent score of nett 68 to win the Lectra Monthly Medal from Harin Udeshi who had a nett 71 at the Lectra Monthly Medal Grand Prix of the Victoria Golf Club, Digana, Kandy.

inishing third was Sirath Kasturiratne with a nett 72, followed by Rohan de Silva and K. Hama who both finished on nett 72 too. After two months of this competition, Nimal Wettimuny, heads the Lectra Grand Prix with 125 points, followed by Sidath Wettimuny (100), Harin Udeshi (60), Sirath Kasturiratne (51), S. Ekanayake (50), S. Shimazaki (40), K. Hama (31), Rohan de Silva (30), Navin de Silva (20) and Vienert Holm (18). (LG)
