sings at Molly's

Enjoy the fabulous vocals of Manilal Perera when he performs with Kevin Almeida on Thursdays at Molly's. Manilal who needs no introduction to our music scene is one of those singers whose voice has matured with distinction over the years.

The ease with which he handles his vocal ranges has always been a plus for him, even when he was leading his popular band Manilal and Upekha.

Now back home from the Maldives for a short spell before he takes off next month, Manilal is also the featured guest at the Supper Club, Lanka Oberoi on Saturday evenings, a special for dance lovers of music of the '50s, '60s, and '70s. "I'll be off to Italy on December 15 to guest with the Italian band I sang with in Sardegna. I'm committed to them for the Christmas season and New Year's Eve, so it's going to be a different festive scene for me.

I will also be celebrating my birthday with my Italian family and I'm looking forward to that" reveals Manilal. Before he jets off catch his scintillating performances with Kevin on Thursdays at Molly's.
