Indonesia to issue more images of Bali bomb suspects BALI, Indonesia, Nov 16 (Reuters) - The Indonesian police plan to release on Sunday sketches and photographs of several people it suspects of involvement in last month's bomb blasts in Bali that killed nearly 200 people. Police have arrested one suspect, Amrozi, who confessed to involvement, and named six other suspects this week. Police have said they believed a group of up to 10 Indonesian nationals carried out the attacks in the tourist island. A multinational team is investigating the October 12 blasts that tore apart two nightclubs and several other buildings in Bali's popular Kuta Beach area, killing mostly foreign tourists. Deputy national police spokesman Edward Aritonang said on Saturday the images would be released at Bali police headquarters and investigators would provide as much detail about as many of the suspects as possible. "The details will include where they lived when they were kids, the schools they went to -- we will give whatever information we can," Aritonang told Reuters. Police have so far released sketches of four suspects but it is not clear how many more will be released on Sunday or how many of them will be named. Police in neighbouring East Java said on Saturday they had taken one of Amrozi's older brothers to a police station in the township of Lamongan for questioning. |
