Virtusa prepares for expansion
Virtusa's Chief Marketing Officer Marc Hebert visited Sri Lanka
recently as part of an operational review of its regional offices both
in Sri Lanka and India. Hebert deploys over 90% of his marketing
resources in Sri Lanka and India, where the company delivers world class
marketing using a 24 hour-a-day model.
According to Hebert, "Sri Lanka represents a key differentiator and
value creator for Virtusa - it is one of the key ingredients to our
unique culture and dramatic growth."
Hebert said that Virtusa has a truly differentiated strategy in an
industry, IT services, where sustainable differentiation is very
difficult to create. "We apply Platforming Principles to increase IT and
software development efficiencies through our unique 'Conceive,
Transform, Optimise,' service offerings.
'Conceive-because we start our new client relationships with
consulting services to help our clients envision their 'to-be' state
that ensures more agile, responsive IT systems to support their evolving
business needs.
'Transform'-because we then execute the transformation of our
clients' systems into the future state using our global delivery model.
And 'Optimise'-because we then provide ongoing investments in the
systems as appreciating assets that deliver increasing value to our
clients' businesses over time."
Hebert said that Virtusa's core competence in 'Conceive, Transform
and Optimise,' is based on the company's unique productisation
methodology, which is derived from its deep software product
development, enterprise consulting and systems integration.
"As a result, our DNA is all about our Productisation methodology
applied to designing and developing software. CEOs highly value this
approach for the way it helps them streamline and rationalise their
collection of overlapping, disjointed systems into a coherent
architecture that uses the most flexible, nimble software technology."
Virtusa's Chief Software Architect, Chandika Mendis, said that
Virtusa's clients appreciate Virtusa's fresh approach to solving their
IT problems by creating software platforms that streamline their
disparate application silos, making them more agile and responsive so
they deliver new products and services to market faster, increase
operational efficiency and improve the customer experience. |
