Coca-Cola Fun Island promotion launched again

The Coca-Cola Fun Island promotion was launched for the second
consecutive year at the Mt. Lavinia Hotel on Tuesday. This year's
promotion as in the previous year will include the grand prize of an
exciting tour for another 100 lucky winners to the Maldives.
Apart from the grand prize, the promotion will offer Rs. 12 million
in instant cash prizes.
This year's promotion will include the core brand such as Coke, Fanta,
Sprite and Portello. The brands will include the green crown with
instant cash prizes and free drinks. To win a trip to the Maldives
consumers should collect three aeroplane symbols to qualify for the
draw.
Country Marketing Manager Lakshman Peiris said, last year's Coke Fun
Island promotion was a success since over 95 percent of the winners
travelled abroad for the first time. It was a memorable experience in
all and we hope this year will be more exciting and enjoyable.
Chanuka Gunerwardena, a winner of last year's promotion said "The
weekend spent in the Maldives is an unforgettable experience which I
cherish a lot. It was an enriching experience since I was able to make
friends and meet people from various parts of the country.
Film actor Suraj Mapa said "Coca-Cola is the most popular brand. It
has been a brand with spirit fizz and fun. My dream of becoming the Coke
Ambassador has become a reality. I will do my best to make the promotion
a success".

The draw will take place in Negombo, Kaduruwela, Kandy, Ratnapura,
Kekirawa and Chilaw from June 17 to August 4. |
