The road from Kandy to Nuwara-Eliya is one of the most beautiful and
scenic routes in Sri Lanka. It starts from the ancient former central of
the nation and then rolls into Lanka's gorgeous Peradeniya Botanical
Gardens and University town of Peradeniya.
After the traveller passes Peradeniya, he commences a pleasant drive
through some truly breathtaking country. On and on it goes through misty
hills, lush tea plantations, stately rivers and secluded streams. At
Ramboda a host of attractions await the traveller. Among them are the
ever-green tea estates that grow some of the finest teas in the island.
The main attraction is the Majestic Ramboda Falls. In close proximity to
this scenic location is Blue Field Resort and Tea Centre at Ramboda,
which is a part of the Blue Field tea plantation.

Tourists at the Blue Field Tea Sales Centre

This is not a place where a traveller could have a cuppa and then
continue his tour to Nuwara-Eliya. The first is the Tea Lounge that
serves Blue Field's own blend of high grown speciality teas with
delicious delicacies from the Pastry Shop. This is a place for those who
prefer a light and swift repast.
For tourists who want a more filling meal, there is the Blue Field
Restaurant. With an Internationally experienced catering staff, this is
no ordinary eatery. The dining experience is both unique and refreshing.
The Blue Field also runs a supermarket, with an extensive selection
of goods. If tourists need fine high-grown teas over the country,
there's the Tea Sales Centre.
Blue Field also offers tourists a tour of the teas factory and has a
childrens' playground too. Added to all these attractions is the fact
that Ramboda Falls is just 15 minutes away from Blue Field Resort and
Tea Centre.
