Seven member Lankan team for Asian Junior meet

The Sri Lanka junior athletic team for the 12th Asian Junior Athletic Meet which will be held in Macau China from July 15 to 18, will leave the island on July 13.

Sri Lanka will field a seven member team for this meet and competitors from over 27 countries are expected to compete.

The Sri Lanka squad: Viraj Charith (D. S. Senanayake College 100 metres), Sumedha Gayan (Army 400 metres), N. G. Wickremasinghe (St. Anthony's 4 X 400 metres), Lakmal Anuruddha (St. Benedict's 4 X 400 metres), Dinesh Chamal (St. Benedict's 4 X 400 metres), K. T. M. Haris (St. Joseph's Trincomalee 4 X 400 metres), Chandrika Subashini (Senanayake MV Madampe 200 and 400 metres).
