'Stone & String' moves on under 'Morksha'

A super brand Stone & String, a leader in Fashion Jewellery, is soon
to be marketed under a newly formed company "Morksha". Under this new
scheme, a whole range of brands such as Stone & String, De Vida and DIVO,
Attitude would be marketed.
The change of Company name from 'Stone& String' to 'Morksha' would
add new dimensions to the business and provide avenues for a range of
brands now marketed under Stone & String.
Starting with a humble beginning under the philosophy of "Fashion is
a lifestyle" in their attic, the founder Mohideen Saheed's wife and
sister-in-law designed jewellery. Their unique designs evoked beauty,
glamour, fantasy and excitement. One of the unique features of Stone &
String is it's wide scope which covers from teenagers to the working
population and also products for both male and female.
The wide range of products defer from products specially catered to
occasions such as birthdays, weddings and corporate gifts, and the
materials they are made of.
Materials from diamonds to corellas are used to bring out the recent
trends. Another important aspect of Stone & String is that its fashion
on jewellery undergoes constant change to suit diverse needs and for the
diverse segments of society, which in turn enable Stone & String to make
a global presence with over 100 countries and outlets in airports.
Currently, it expands operations in India and Goa, former Portuguese
Colony which is a major tourist attraction. Stone & String is the only
Sri Lankan company that could master franchise globally including the
exclusive online franchise agreement with Japan.
According to Mohideen, the professional aspects of the business is
that the craftsmen and designers who work with Stone & String , are
working with the material they have and add value to their products by
sheer innovation. Recently Stone & String appointed Anarkhali Arkarsha
as its brand ambassador.
