The role played by the Ceylon Hotels Corporation (CHC) over the part
40 years, contributing to the growth of Sri Lanaka's hospitality
industry, is certainly another milestone.
The Ceylon Hotels Corporation, now a member of the prestigious
Gardiner group, owns and manages 21 hotels, resthouses, resorts and
restaurants, built in some of the most scenic locations throughout the
country. A unique feature is that some of the properties owned by the
CHC have been built to resemble the style and architecture of old
English Inns and Country Homes.
Under the vision and direction of the Gardiner Group Chairman,
Sanjive Gardiner and his enthusiastic team of professionals, plans are
under way to develop and improve the standards of services extensively
and raising the facilities of the CHC properties, to compete with other
star class hotels.

their location Pussellawa, Ella, Kotmale and Belihuloya, are in the
central highlands, and Dambulla, Sigiriya, Habarana, Polonaruwa, and
Seruwa are in the Cultural Triangle.
For wildlife enthusiasts the Tissamaharama Rest house is ideal. It's

made these properties extremely popular as "Honeymooners' Paradise" in
exotic surroundings" Director Sales and Marketing, Anushka Lovell said.
The surroundings of each rest house and its scenic beauty cannot be
over-emphasized.
The gushing waters of the river flowing, the sounds of the singing
birds, and the cool breeze fascinate tourists. The Kitulgale Rest House
is one such location that is famous for being the site for filming the

anniversary with a host of unique programs and promotions planned
