Human rights!

Where are those so-called human rights activists who do not hesitate to jump up and shed 'crocodile tears' when the LTTE is at the receiving end? Are they in deep slumber as usual?

Why are they so dumb when totally innocent, unarmed civilian lives are cruelly and brutally snatched away by the LTTE terrorists? Why cannot they come to roads and demonstrate as they vociferously do, when LTTE are targeted?

When the LTTE terrorists target civilian populace all the 'Peace Mongers' including our own opposition and the international community - strangely and very surprisingly quiet.

They simply issue a 'paper statement' warning both parties to the conflict to observe utmost restrain - when actually it is one party who perpetrates such dastardly crime.

What are they surreptitiously up to? Do they not - through their usual 'double-tongued' attitude help and encourage the terrorists? Do all these people think that we Sri Lankans are a set of gullible fools? We tell them - 'go to hell', we'll manage our affairs.
