EPF, ETF units under one roof soon

The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) division at Kollupitiya, the EPF payment unit in the Central Bank and the Employees Trust Fund (ETF) Board will be under one roof within the next few months at the Labour Secretariat Building, Narahenpita.

"The objective of this program is to provide an efficient service to the labour force of over eight million in the semi governmental and private sector institutions", Labour Relations and Manpower Minister Athauda Seneviratne told the `Sunday Observer'.

He said there were 12 district labour offices and steps would be taken to strengthen the EPF and ETF work at these offices also to prevent a large number of employees seeking assistance often from the Head Office at Narahenpita.
