Dancing Princess

Little Rebecca has been training under Ama Siriwardena who is a popular dance teacher living in Victoria, Australia for the past so many years.Rebecca Fernando too has trained along with other children who's parents are mostly Sri Lankan expatriates living there.

Recently the expatriate community living in Victoria organised a musical evening title 'Ama Dahara' to celebrate dancing teacher Ama Siriwardena's vast contribution towards sustaining their children's cultural ties by teaching them oriental dance and music, specially based on local movements and rhythms.

The concert which was held at the Bourwood Besan centre in Victoria with the wide participation of all Sri Lankans who have made Victoria their second home made all efforts to make it a memorable one. Little Rebecca Fernando was the toast of the evening and added immensely to that memorable event.
