A tribute to Sir Ivor Jennings:

Sir Ivor Jennings, a Professor of Law at the
London School of Economics arrived in Sri Lanka (then Ceylon) in
1941 with the intention of establishing the first residential
University in the country which was a dire need at that time. He was
appointed as the second principal of the Ceylon University College.

Physician Surgeons at Nawaloka Hospital who feels no stress whatever
the work load put on him has many interests. "Rugby and surgery are
the two VVITs (Very Very Important Things) in his life. He feels no
stress, and can attend to a lot of work simultaneously," says
