Air strikes to continue in Kilinochchi

The LTTE's political wing leader Suppiah Paramu Thamilselvan paid a heavy price for not falling in line with the good advice given to him by the whole world in making his organisation politically more vibrant, the Tamil United Liberation Front (TULF) leader and one-time Member of Parliament of the LTTE's stronghold Kilinochchi Veerasingam Anandasangaree said.

Security in city tightened

Security in the City of Colombo was tightened following the shooting of OIC Crimes Harbour police, Inspector Pathirathna (36) who succumbed to his injures yesterday morning at the Colombo National hospital.

Ending the war - only aim of air strikes - Hulugalle

Director General, Media Centre for National Security, Lakshman Hulugalle said that the successful air strike on Friday, targeting six LTTE terrorists including Tamilselvan, proves that the only aim of the Air Force is to "end the war" and not to launch attacks on the Tamils.
