Team work strengthened at SLT - Mobitel cricket encounter

CRICKET: Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT), the nations's number one integrated communications service provider in Sri Lanka together with Mobitel, the national mobile service provider met each other at the Convergence Trophy cricket tournament hosted by both companies.

The main objective behind this cricket tournament was the strengthening of teamwork in convergence of technologies with a view to add more value to its customers.

In this special encounter, both the companies strengthened their relationships among the employees through the sportsmanship of cricket, a popular game in Sri Lanka, which was played at the Mercantile cricket ground.

The 20-over limited over cricket tournament comprised both companies playing two matches head to head, in categories 'A' and 'B'. SLT won the 'A' category match by eight wickets, while Mobitel won the 'B' category match by seven wickets.
