Lyceum International Nugegoda u 15 shuttle champs

BADMINTON: Lyceum International School, Nugegoda won the under 15 girls badminton championships in the Inter-International Schools Tournament.

Lyceum beat Colombo International School 3-nil, Asian International School 2-1 and Leeds International School, Panadura (walk over) in league matches.

In the semi-finals, Lyceum beat Stafford International School 2-1, and in the final Lyceum Nugegoda beat Colombo International 2-1.

Ishani Pathirana of Lyceum International School, Nugegoda won the Best Player's Award in the under 15 category.

The team was coached by Mrs. Vipuli Seneviratne and the teacher-in-charge was Malith Kumarasinghe.
