Teen thoughts
Mother's wish
In a solitary place, she released her soul
Placidly in a corner, her corpse, found

Serenely news spread and spread
In pensive mood, wealthy sons rushed and rushed
Their melancholy chorus, over echoed and echoed
Two nights passed and passed
Discussion about the burial
Vanity, motivation by so called daughter-in-law
Conflict occurred, no decision
Mother's wish in vain
Restrictions, prohibitions
For her burial in her inherited lands
But for a common place, cemetery
Though her womb accepted them
Though her life dedicated to them
Though her blood converted to milk
Though her lands inherited to them
Her tomb in her land prohibited
By her so called sons

Sweet little Eacle-broom
Oh! Sweet little eaclebroom,
Do you want me to collect
all the dirt around me and
and over my wide compound?
Yes. I shall collect them and never
put them by the road side.
If I put them in large bundles
by the road side.
Do you know my sweet little one,
What will happen to them?
The whole bundles would get
decayed and spread everywhere.
So as to make breeding places
for the mosquitoes and
don't you know, Dengue fever
might be strong-hold.
In all over the environment and
you and I will get the blame
vigorously from rage prevalent
citizens from all over the place.

The reality
Once the happiness
Once the sorrow
Once vileness
And then,
The affability
Sometimes the affectionate
Sometimes the jealousy
Sometimes the greediness
And again,
The charity
But, mostly
The discontent
Mm.....
What is the reality
of this transient theory?
My dear,
"Human beings are born, not made"
That's the reality

The God in My World
When I was crying
You never tried to
make me smile,
Coz you knew
Every minute of crying
Ends with an understanding...
When I was smiling
You never tried to
multiply my smile,
Coz you knew
Maximum of smiling
Ends with a tear...
When I was blaming
You never tried to
hold my tongue
Coz you knew
Anger in the heart
Ends with hatred...
When I was living
You never tried to
be a special one
in my heart
Coz you knew
There will be
A special place for you
In my heart
Where anyone can't reach...
My dear father...
You are the God of my world.
MASHA ATHUKORALA
Dear....
Unexpectedly I met you,
I talked with you,
Unknowingly you become
the leader of my life,
Your dearest voice and sweet smile;
The reality of the valuable life,
Your thoughtfulness had meant;
much more than words
Could ever say;
I never thought about.
That you gave wonderful life;
How am I saying
Value of your life to me,
Thanks for everything;
That help to make
My life meaningfully....
LAKMINI CHANDRASENA, Kalaniya
Thank You!
I'll always be thankful that I met you all,
We've spent so much time together...
It seems we have been friends forever,
There's a bond between us that has
Strengthened through the years...
Even though we have gone our separate ways,
I know that if I need someone to tell my
troubles to, you all are there, ready to listen
and to give advice if I ask...
I realise how lucky I am to know all of you.
I'd like to thank you all from my heart
for all your affection and kindness...
Dear friends, you all will always hold a
special place in my heart.
