Move to transport patients without delay

The Security and hospital authorities will coordinate to transport patients to hospitals without delay at security check-points in the Jaffna district, General Officer Commanding 52 Division Brigadier Mano Perera told journalists at a media briefing last week. "This will help to admit patients to hospital without delay and save their lives," he said.

The Brigadier said patients who are transferred to Colombo by ship and those who are discharged from Colombo will be provided free transport to the Kankasanthurai Harbour.
