SLTTI Acting Training course in June
Sri Lanka Television Training Institute (SLTTI) the national trainer
for electronic media training announces launch of the training course on
‘Acting for Television and Film’, with a view to developing skills of
existing and probable actors and actresses of the country.
The main objective of the training is to familiarize the participants
with the concept of acting, upgrade skills and develop traits that
enable overall success in performances before the camera.
The training encompasses a range of theoretical and practical
training to develop personality and psychological traits conducive for
successful acting.
The course director will be veteran actor and director, Bandula
Vithanage, whilst professionals in the field, Vasantha Obeysekera,
Jayalal Rohana, Prasanna Jayakody, Mahendra Perera and Saumya Liyanage
are the resource persons who will form the curriculum team.
The training course has been scheduled from June 23 to July 18 on
weekdays as a full time course, at the Institute.
Those who have earlier experience in acting and those who are newly
interested in acting are invited to apply.
