Best O/L Examination results from Jaffna

The best results at the Ordinary Level Examination held last year has been from the Jaffna district, Government Agent for the Jaffna District K. Ganesh said.

He said that while 48 per cent passed the O/L Examination, 71 per cent passed the Advanced Level Examination. Around 1440 students from the Jaffna district pursued higher education last year.

Ganesh said 6420 teachers are serving in 410 schools in the district. AN
