MR at May Day

MR politely declined to use the bulletproof stand that was erected for him to address the May Day rally at Lime-branch-kandiya. Instead, he opted to use the common podium, saying that it would be an insult to our valiant Security Forces if he uses a bulletproof shield in a liberated area.

No salaries

Though workers all over the world celebrated the May Day, Tea-Run the Potato failed to pay last month's salaries for his staff at Sunday that is substandard. Though he took Rs. 23 million and Rs. 29 million telling Court that he needs to pay the salaries of his scribes, Tea-Run has not done anything so far.

Seeing stars

Ra-Blue is making every endeavour to prevent a possible 17th consecutive defeat for the UNP. Having found through surveys that they don't stand any chance in the East, Ra-Blue has now turned to astrologers to see whether his stars could change the situation. (More on page 3).

Bell boy cricket

The Bell Boys were at cricket last week. The two One-sas - Some and Flowery-We met on the cricket field with the old boys of Kalutara MV took on Tissa MV at Kalu-Fat. Though the two One-sas were to lead the respective old boys' teams at the limited over cricket match, Flowery-We came late. But the two did not see eye to eye.

Some gears

Some, the One-sa has summoned three of his confidants to plan a strategy to sabotage a possible move by Flowery-We and None-dana to form a new party. Some said they should use their 'power' at any cost and shoot down the move by the two rebels. Some is back to dirty politics eh!

Dream world

Lucky-Milk Fall and Sun Kind-Leader held a secret discussion where they evaluated the Elephant Party's position at the Eastern polls campaign.

Though both agreed that they are not on a good wicket, they decided not to breathe a word to the leader who is still in a dream world of his own.
