Eagle presents Excellence Awards

In its quest to reward Excellence, Eagle Insurance Company annually felicitates two leading personalities who have proved their commitment to excellence and professionalism in their chosen fields.

This year the personalities selected for the Eagle Excellence Award were Victor Ratnayake who has excelled in the field of Sri Lankan music and Prof. Sunil Ariyaratne, renowned in the fields of literature, cinema and music.

This year too the awards presentation was the highlight of the annual Eagle Convention at the BMICH to recognise the best among the Eagle field force.

This was the sixth successive year that Eagle Insurance chose two celebrated artistes to be honoured.

Best known as a singer of the highest calibre, Victor Ratnayake became a household name when he presented his solo performance 'Sa' 35 years ago. Providing a new experience to music lovers, he still draws full houses whenever he performs 'Sa'. To date there have been 1,391 performances both locally and abroad.
