Delmege promotes healthcare and sports flooring

Bertrand Chaumet, Managing Director of Gerflor Asia, France's largest manufacturer and a world leader in contract, healthcare and sports flooring visited Sri Lanka and made a presentation to a cross section of architects, contractors and developers of hospitals and sports centres at the Hilton Residencies recently.

Chaumet gave a detailed presentation on the new range of Gerflor healthcare, contract and sports flooring and also made references to the numerous hospitals and sports flooring projects completed in the Asian region.

Welcoming the gathering, Nilantha Fernando, Managing Director of Delmege Interior Decor, sole agents for the Gerflor range in Sri Lanka said that Delmege Interior Decor is Sri Lanka's largest importer and supplier of carpets, carpet tiles, contract and healthcare flooring, laminate flooring, office chairs and polybutylene pipes.

Fernando said that Delmege has been representing Gerflor for over eight years and were proud to be associated with such a world renowned brand.

"Today the Government as well as private sector hospitals are investing considerable sums of money on equipment, infrastructure and buildings to uplift the facilities of the healthcare industry to the highest standards; therefore Delmege is proud to be associated with both sectors, by supplying our premium range of products" said Fernando.

Gerflor flooring has been installed in many prestigious projects in Sri Lanka, including factories, hospitals and gyms. Gerflor premium healthcare flooring was recently installed at the new Golden Key Eye and ENT Hospital as well as at the Ceylinco Healthcare Centre.
