New traffic scheme

A new city traffic scheme will be conducted today at 6 a.m.

Buses plying from Thunmulla towards Bambalapitiya have been allocated a strip of the road from Thunmulla junction to Bambalapitiya junction and from Bauddhaloka Mawatha to Bambalapitiya junction and towards Vajira Road along the Galle Road, by the National Transport Commission according to a circular issued by Director, Police Public Relations, SSP Ranjith Gunesekera.

Buses leaving Colombo will proceed along Thunmulla junction along Bullers Road junction to the Galle Road and buses travelling from Duplication Road will proceed to Bullers Road Duplication junction and turn right.

Buses entering the city of Colombo from Galle Road and buses proceeding towards Thunmulla will turn right at the Bambalapitiya junction and proceed towards Thunmulla junction. JJ
