Thomians crush Vidyartha 64/0

RUGBY: S. Thomas College, Mount Lavinia powered their way to a rousing 64 points to nil victory over Vidyartha College, Kandy in their Singer inter school under 20 Division One Group A league rugby tournament match worked off at Mount Lavinia yesterday.

The Thomians virtually went on the rampage as they planted as many as 12 tries and converted two of them to complete a highly successful outing after having led 32 nil at half time.

This was easily their best performance for the current season as they cruised to their fifth victory in the tournament.

They crossed their opponents goal line at regular intervals with Niluk Wickrematilleke (2), Sajith Kalupathirana (2), Dinuka Ranasinghe, Rohitha Rajapaksa (2) and W. A. Brown leading the way.

Manjith Ammangama added the extra points to two of their tries.
