Activities for Children's Day

The Children Skills Development Programme (CSDP) will, this year too, present awards to 50 outstanding children, in connection with Children's Day. Children who have displayed special skills and talents in various fields can submit their applications and 50 will be selected through a three-step process.

Applications for the competitions will be accepted till September 10. The CSDP is also giving opportunities for children to sing for a cassette as well as to act in a children's stage drama and teledrama to be produced in connection with the Day. Awards will also be presented to journalists, media organisations, other people and organisations who have contributed towards the welfare of children.
